DC-CAP STEM Career Series
The STEM Ready Career Series showcases individuals from diverse STEM disciplines. These professionals have been interviewed to delve into their respective careers, shedding light on their educational background, previous employment experiences, and the journey that led them to their present positions.
The objective of the series is to familiarize students with STEM professionals and gain insights into the educational paths required to pursue careers in specific STEM fields. Through two key activities, (1) watching videos and (2) completing surveys, students have the opportunity to earn additional participation credit towards their STEM scholarship.

This video showcases the pathway from majors like biology and chemistry to a rewarding career as a biological researcher.
